Plain White T

Tshirt: Mossimo
Jeans: Genetic Denim
Shoes: Lauren Conrad
Necklace: Jane Basch
Always I hear people excuse their lack of style with these two statements, "I like to be comfortable" and/or "I don't have the time." Well let me tell you that in this outfit I am very comfortable and I bet it took me less than one minute to get fully dressed. A fitted v-neck t shirt and a pair of ultra stretch jeans are just as comfortable and easy to put on as a pair of sweat pants and a Tshirt depicting a logo from your last vacation.
Ok so enough with my ranting ... I love the simplicity of casual jeans and a plain white T. I think it epitomizes a daytime outfit suitable for whatever comes your way. Bonus ... I found these super cute black sandals on sale at Kohl's. Love!

Leopard Wedges

Leopard wedges and leopard nails! WooHoo!

Top: McGinn
Tank: Mossimo
Pants: Joes's Jeans
Wdges: Steve Madden
Ok so I told you guys about these wedges a couple of weeks ago. I am completely obssessed with them! I have worn them like five times already and I have only had them a little over two weeks. Overkill?? I think not!
I wore all black so that the shoes would be the main focus but really I love an all black outfit. I think it is simple and sleek but still makes a pretty bold statement. These pants are amazing. They are super stretchy and so they fit like a glove all the way down and don't get baggy at my knees ... which totally gets on my nerves with my skinny jeans.

Gusting Heat

106 degree heat and 25 mile an hour winds and this is what you get (ha!). Ryan described it really well. He said it was like be constantly blasted by a giant hair dryer. Awesome. So, I guess this is what Zoey and I would look like if we were standing in front of said hair dryer.
This giant shell necklace was a random find many years ago and I like it a lot but honestly I find it hard to wear. It is just so "beachy" and I suppose I am not. It worked with this outfit though so I ran with it.
I like this very neutral day outfit because it is comfortable and casual and even though the top has long sleeves, it is a very open weave so the breeze goes straight through it. Perfect for hangin out outside with the dogs.

Blue Skies For Everyone

Top: Joie
Pants: Gracia
Shoes: Steve Madden
I really don't consider myself a shopper that always buys the same kind of stuff but I am seeing a pattern in designers. The names Joie and Steve Madden seem to come up over and over. Hmmm. Maybe I need to refrain and branch out haha. Except that I did just receive some awesome Steve Madden leopard wedges in the mail that I will feature very very soon. It is sort of weird how you gravitate toward the same designers without even knowing it.
Anyway, I totally love this outfit. The whole black and white color scheme is pretty fun. And I always love a bold pattern mixture.
It's the weekend!!

Pretending

Top: Gemma
Skirt: French Connection
Shoes: Steve Madden
I really love this top. The design is awesome the way it is kind of a cross between water marks and tie dye. I have a serious infatuation with pockets too so that makes the top even better. The skirt was a must. I think sequins have made a huge jump into daytime wear and I fully intend to embrace it to the fullest. All girls like to sparkle right?!
Feeling a little Eric Clapton in my blog title today. That is why it seemingly has nothing to do with the ensemble. I love a little classic rock in my day. When I was a kid my dad would play the Eric Clapton "Chronicles" CD while he was taking me to school and ever since then I love love love. I named my dog after the song "Layla" and I have taught my 5 year old nice to love him too. Honestly, every time she gets in my car she wants to listen to Eric Clapton ... it is pretty much the most awesome thing ever.
