Step into Spring

I am deeming this week "Spring Inspiration" week. I am on vacation in my snowy paradise and I know when I get home it will be warm warm warm. I want to be ready with inspiration for my wardrobe wants.

Lets kick it off with shoes!

Green Pea

Dress: Target     Sweater: Motel

I hate trying to get dressed when it is freezing cold in the morning when I leave for work but by the time mid afternoon rolls around it is mid 70s. What a pain.
This dress is a plain straight racer back piece that I wear a lot because it is so easy and comfortable but still looks really cute. This morning I put my peacock sweater over it thinking, at least it is three quarter sleeve and the knit it big enough that it breathes a tiny bit. Warm enough to leave the house in the cold but not too hot for later today .... at least I hope!

Amanda Sterett

Amanda Sterett is a jewelry designer out of Dallas, TX and we sell her jewelry at the boutique where I work. Her line is incredible. Every stone used in her jewelry is individually chosen by the designer and each piece is hand made by her team in the Amanda Sterett studio. The design of her jewelry is so unique and because each piece is hand made, the quality is impeccable. These are just a few of over 250 pieces in her spring/summer 2011 collection.

Can I just say that reversible things that are actually cute worn either way are so much fun! I also really like that you can see a little bit of the underneath color no matter which side the skirt is worn. It adds just a hint of extra visual interest.
I feel like all of my pictures from this week have been super bright colors but I am just so excited to be able to wear them! It puts me in such a happy mood to be walking around in a bright orange skirt!
